Step One: One place you should consider working at is within a nursing home. A lot of nursing homes are always hiring. You can find a variety of them in different cities around your area. So think twice about taking the first job that you're offered. Take a look at all of your options before making any decisions.
Step Two: Another great place to work as a CNA is within a hospital. You will need to get in touch with the human resource department of the hospital to find out whether or not they're hiring. If they are, you can go in to apply. In some cases, hospitals are known to pay well, but not all of them do, but they all usually offer awesome health insurance.
Step Three: Like the idea of helping people within their homes? Consider working at a home health agency. In most instances, you aren't required to have an HHA license to work for them. Working in this field is less demanding than a medical facility.
Step Four: A place where you'd least expects to hire a certified nursing assistant is inside of a jail or prison. They usually offer great pay and health insurance. In this field it could be dangerous because you could get harmed by a prisoner. Make sure you don't only look at the pay, look at the duties involved.
Step Five: Local clinics are also known to hire CNA. Working here is perfect for those who are looking to continue their education - great experience is involved.
