CNA Jobs
CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) perform tasks under the supervision of nurses and medical staff. They are primarily referred to as nursing aides or orderlies. CNAs answer patients' call bells, help patients eat if they are unable to feed themselves, prepare beds, and so on. CNAs may also take temperature readings, check patients' pulse rates and blood pressure, and set up equipment in the operating theater.
CNAs provide hands-on care to those who are unable to care for themselves. CNAs also aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Additionally, CNAs may document patient interactions as needed and take precautions and remedial measures for the safety of patients.
To obtain a certified nurse assistant job, one must have a high school diploma and be certified by an accredited nursing assistant program. CNA job candidates should be familiar with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures in their field.
