Responsibilities
The Senior Stars Improvement, Clinical Professional (RN or LPN). This work focuses on areas of clinical emphasis including HEDIS and Medication Safety. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Works with an internal team to collaborate and plan for best approach to meet goals
Works with provider offices to consult on process improvements to help advance Stars performance
External-facing role of influence to provider partners and executives
Frequently in a position to influence with compelling data
Presents in front of customer regularly in an environment with high levels of professionalism
Required Qualifications
An active Registered Nurse (RN) License or LPN License free of restrictions
5 years of RN experience OR 5 years LPN experience with Bachelors Degree
2 years In clinic experience ( (if hospital experience, quality improvement focus)
Familiar with provider office processes
Ability to influence and make a positive impact
Strong presentation skills both verbal and written
Ability to work autonomously and within a highly collaborative team
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of metrics, trends and the ability to identify best next steps
Proven organizational and prioritization skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care or a related field
Understanding of CMS Stars, performance measures, HEDIS knowledge and experience
Background working in quality improvements
Experience working with Medicare Advantage Plans
Prior value-based care or managed care experience
Coding experience
Additional Information
Reside in Montana with ability to travel through out state and occasionally elsewhere
