The Manager of Managed Care Contracts will direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of the managed care contract programs for HealthCare Centers. This would include Medicare Replacement, Managed Care plans, post Medicare LTC plans, and Dual Eligible programs that are replacing state Medicaid programs. Duties and Responsibilities

Partners with divisional, campus, therapy and clinical teams to identify and implement the necessary managed care contracts for campus and national agreements.
Directs and partners with insurance companies to research and obtain national agreements for all Trilogy.
campuses when appropriate, and/or divisional/campus agreements as is necessary.
Maintains and organizes all managed care contracts via electronic files at home office. Tracks and monitors the terms and reimbursement criteria for each contract.
Reviews and analyzes contracts for financial profitability on a routine basis to ensure that provisions are in the best interest to the Company and are generating a fair and equitable profit margin.
Works with Divisional Business Development team and Campus Customer Service Representatives to effectively communicate what contracts are available, and how to administer them for residents upon admission.
Partners with the Divisional Business Office Support team and campus Business Office Managers to ensure that contracts are set up in the billing system correctly.
Assists Divisional BOS team in resolving complex payer issues causing significant A/R balances.
Conserves resources by adhering to financial stewardship using prudent judgment related to expense(s) incurred by the Company.
Travel (10%) including overnight stay as necessary.


College Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
Contacts within Insurance industry that can be utilized for setting up Contracts.


CCM (Certified Case manager) or RN (Registered Nurse) preferred.
MBA, CPA, or other Insurance Certification preferred.


Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years prior experience in Insurance, Healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment preferred.
Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
