Traveling CNA Jobs description
Traveling certified nursing assistants (CNAs) assist patients with the activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, and assist with maintaining a clean environment. Traveling certified nursing assistants also answer patients' call bells, take care of infections, and prepare beds, among other duties. Traveling certified nursing assistants take temperature, pulse rate, and blood pressure readings as well.Traveling certified nursing assistants care for patients under the supervision of registered nurses. Traveling certified nursing assistants also aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Traveling certified nursing assistants may document patient interactions as needed and take precautions and remedial measures for the safety of patients.
To obtain a job as a traveling certified nursing assistant, one must have a high school diploma or GED. First aid certification and participation in annual training programs are required as well.
